Wildwoods is a very different company. There really only is one company policy. To ride the line of best case scenario. The line of best case scenario is a mythical line that I have chased now for 19 years. It grunts, screams cries and then laughs for hours. It is the compromise between the negative sense of people and their hidden abilities to be positive and therefore think clearer and have energy. It is not only being positive, but it is finding reality by challenging the negative path of least resistance in people to find the limits and gently, convincingly sway that reality to the most positive the situation can be. It takes an undying positive attitude from supervisors and staff that can only come from their confidence and experience as management.
My vision is to get to a point where Wildwoods runs itself. A bunch of pros working together for the common goal of completing the season. Everyone feels appreciated by good wages and good times. All Wildwoods, staff give 110% to make sure your season runs everyday or almost everyday. This creates loyalty and a good work ethic which creates better production and respect for each other's efforts. Every moan and groan every complaint is the immaturity of the individual. It is never anyone’s right to complain and ruin everyone else’s experience. This is quite a stretch for the here and now but Wildwoods has steadily earned the right to expect this from planters. |
